Ending violence
Strengthening relationships

You get loud and lose control. You say or do things you later regret. You hurt others with your words or actions. Afterwards, you feel ashamed of how you treated your partner, maybe even your children.

You think «I didn't want to do that» or «That's not who I am.» Maybe it was the first time, and you're shocked by your own behavior. Or maybe you realize you keep falling into the same pattern.

But violence isn't an uncontrollable reaction, and it doesn't happen by accident.

Whether conscious or unconscious, using violence is always a choice. And at any moment, you can choose differently. It's up to you to take a different path. It takes courage to take an honest look at yourself and your own behavior. But that's exactly where your strength lies, and where real change begins.

Change means taking responsibility, questioning old patterns, and developing healthier ways of responding.

Only you can stop the cycle.
